I really want to apply as a mature student for nursing next year but in the mean time I would love to get experience as a health care assistant. I currently work full time so wouldn't be in a position to give it up for a fetac course full time so was just wondering from anyone's experiences what certs does one need for this? I was thinking of doing a care of the elderly first aid and manual handling would this be enough?
