Over under odds question

    I have googled for this but can't get a clear answer.
    I know that an over bet on 2.5 means you will win if there are 3 or more goals and lose other wise

    But why do you have odds on oddsportal showing odds for 2.25, 2.5 and 2.75 ???

    Over/Under +2.25 29/25 69/100
    Over/Under +2.5 22/25 89/100
    Over/Under +2.75 7/10 117/100

    Surely each of these is a bet on the same outcome so I'm obviuously missing something?

    those are special over/under bets. see if the chart on this website will help make things clearer for you

    OVER 2.25
    1 goal = loss
    2 goal = half loss/half refund
    3 goal = win

    OVER 2.5 =
    You know how this works

    OVER 2.75 =
    1 goal = loss
    2 goal = loss
    3 goal = half win/half refund
    4 goal = win

    These are asian goal lines. Over 2.0 goals means if it has 2 goals in the game you get a refund, if 3 you win fully, its pretty much an over 2.5 bet, with the security if there is only 2 goals you get your money back. Over 3.0 is the same scenario.

    In this case over 2.25 is a half stake on over 2.0 goals, and a half stake on over 2.5. ((2.5 + 2))/2 = 2.25), thats why if there is 2 goals its half refunded.

    Over 2.75 is a half stake on over 3.0 goals, and a half stake on over 2.5. ((2.5 + 3))/2 = 2.75), thats why if there is 3 goals its half refunded.
