    going to Canada/USA next week, for 10 weeks

    what is the best way to bring/use money abroad?

    I have a Visa Debit Card and a Credit Card (€3000 limit)
    I've been researching the rates for atms withdrawals, cash advances and purchases for non-euro transactions

    it is all quite confusing.
    I will be visiting Canada first, so plan to bring some cahs for that.
    any advice appreciated
