RTE radio- Louis Walsh

Everytime I turn on the radio(or tv) I seem to be coming across Louis Walsh promoting his acts or else the actual acts being interviewed. I mean how much free publicity do the likes of Shane Filan, Jedward etc need. So far this week Derek Mooney gave more than hour to Louis Walsh and today he had Shane Filan on. Filan was given a spot on the ROT. I could go on and on, the instances are endless.

Walsh's minions include Jedward, Samantha Mumba, Boyzone, Mary Byrne, Westlife and others. Try to count the number of times they pop up on RTE. There seems to be a kind of immorality to the whole thing.

Not a bit fan of the Louis Walsh 'persona' but he's actually pretty much a music dictionary. His taste is VERY diverse and the music he promotes isn't necessarily his taste. And his knowledge of music history is pretty huge.

A very good point. Louis Walsh is everywhere you look when you watch RTE on TV or listen to RTE radio!! He is some kind of god.

I knew he managed Jedward, Boyzone, Samantha Mumba and Westlife. Also Six. But never knew he also managed Mary Byrne, but that explains a lot: why we see so much of her too! I think Nicky Byrne will take over from Louis when Louis wants to retire...

I think we are saturated by all of Louis' projects at this stage and the novelty of his acts have worn off. Anyway though: where are Jedward? They are the one act we have not seen in well over a year????

Limited shelf life, no talent just desperate to be famous, the joke was funny at first then people released they had very little talent. Mammy has taken over managing them day to day and they can't sell tickets to small venues even.
