My dad still uses an old Sky box

    I rang them today and they said that they now just have the sky hd boxes. I was hoping for a sky plus one.

    They offered it a 5 euro per month.

    Thing is - my dad takes sports.

    Should i haggle for a better deal.

    60 euros per year is a cost - he could do without.

    is it not €50 for a new HD box ? work out a lot cheaper long term than paying the fiver a month

    Thats the thing sky will do very little for exhisting customers but will offer all sorts to get new customers,however if you tell them you want to cancel your subscription they will usually cut a deal with you regards upgrades, installations etc its all part of the ''save the sale'' idea
