Astra light sensor

My mother has a 07 Astra she keeps forgetting to turn off the lights cause the beep sound that lets you know the light ls are still on after the door is open.

Anyone know how to fix this

Ok, are the internal light coming on after she opens door? I think there is also a keys left in ignition warning, is that working?
It could be the door contacts not working right. Check about the light and ket warning.

No beep at all. Where abouts are yhe door contacts

The contacts should be in the upright pillar. Its normally a little switch, you can press it in with your finger.

Try swapping the passenger side switch with the drivers side switch, this will let you know if the contact is at fault

So does the light go on/off when you open/close door?

Biko. I am on about the headlights etc are left on after the door is open to tell you to turn off the lights

A lot of the time, the alarm is linked to the switch on the door pillar that turns off the cabin light when the door is closed. Because the drivers door gets used more often, the switch can break. Change with the one in the passenger door to see if this is the problem
