It seems that some Military aircraft are now showing up on FR24 including Typhoons and F-15s today.....Hopefully this is a permanent feature...

    KC-135R at the moment...http://www.flightradar24.com/QID83

    Currently being BETA tested.

The KC135's (QID / QUID) often pass over Waterford in low level formation to meet B1's just west of Ireland.

I've seen RAF tankers (run by contractors) and BAe 146 executive transports on FR24, but not combat aircraft. I wonder is this recent. THere was an RAF B200 over Belfast during the week - at least I think that's what it was - but it wasn't on FR24.

flightradar just deployed MLAT coverage therefore they can show you planes that do not have ADS-B transponders. By using GPS they can now calculate the position of aircraft, with just a Mode-S transponder from 4 receivers. Currently they have feeders in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK, Germany, Poland, Latvia and Estonia, therefore the coverage is still not that great and planes can go "missing" if they fly out from a feeder-square

I was just looking at FR24 over the west coast of the US and found this US Navy Bronco.

Is the contractor Omega Air ?

No, AirTanker Ltd. RAF crews fly the aircraft, but supply, training, maintenance and support is provided by AirTanker. I suppose that strictly speaking these are military aircraft with military registrations, but I wondered whether these might be treated differently from the FR24 perspective than combat aircraft. If people are seeing Typhoons, etc on FR24 then I guess not.
