Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere but what is it with the layout at Gleneagles that has them finishing on the 10th? Is it something to do with tournament logistics that doesn't apply normally? If not, why not just re-do the card?

There is a road just by the 10th tee box that they drop the players off and pick up

I know but presumably the 1st and 18th are close to the clubhouse. If not, why are they the first and eighteenth?
