Lads anyone know of Youtube and Java sites that can help person in Level 5 City and Guilds exams. Not looking for answers just sites that will help my standard. We have awful teacher lot of us failed first exams. Cruised through everything else so far bar Java

They have a pretty decent JAVA section from what I hear

Thats Javascript on code academy which is a very different thing.

I know there is an extreme difference between javascript and java.

Afaik they used to, it was in my notes in college all through 1st Year. They must have removed it. They used to have a C++ aswell

The even advertise it if you type "codeacademy java" into google.

Stick with the other suggestions though, sorry for posting incorrectly

newboston gets a lot of criticism but I think he is great for beginners. But do not use it as a whole source, you need to know why you are doing things and what it all means and so on.

Cave of programming has some good videos as well. The guy is worked as a programmer and teacher, so his videos are more professional than newboston.
