Mail merge Word - document printing half page!

    Hi all,
apologies in advance for what is (probably) a dumb problem.

Have a simple mail merge system - A4 letter and envelope set up, updated database each month. Always works fine.

Today I removed a typed header and added in a jpeg (scanned image of a logo) for the top of the page.

When I now merge my database and fields to print, the envelopes print fine but the A4 page prints only half of the page!

Print preview shows them full and 'normal'. If I select each letter individually they print. I have clicked on orientation and margins / page layout / page size and still no avail. only one half of the page will print, stating it is 'outside of the margins' or similar.

I've spent 2.5 hours trying to figure this out and am entirely frustrated!
Windows 7 - any help hugely appreciated. These are important letters that should have been sent out today :eek:

    probably way off topic

    but ...

in the olde days only getting half a page was a sign that you were out of printer memory for things like lasers that do a page at at time

try print with less dpi or use something like pdfcreator to print to a file

Check the size of the jpg logo and reduce it as little as possible without compromising the printed image.

Thanks guys - turned out to be a problem with the printer and the cartridge carrier (only running halfway along!) Cleaned the runner down with very soft cloth, tiny drop of machine oil and working grand again. Thanks for all help!
