Left my van into be washed this morning and told polish lad to give it a wash,
there was grime underneath the bonnet and told him to give it a clean too and i would pay him the extra.
He told me now that he powerwashed around the engine etc too.

there is like a breather type box underneath the bonnet that meets another breather when bonnet is closed and im afraid that water may have got in there and if so will it cause any damage

    thanks

    Was the car sounding differently?
Washing the engine with a hose is most often ok, I do it myself.
