Extremely sensitive teeth after seeing the dentist

I went to the dentist for the first time in years and years, not because I had any issues, but I just felt I should get them checked out as it had been so long (putting it off for so long as I have a bit of a fear of dentists).
They cleaned my teeth and a week later I went back and had 5 composite fillings.
My teeth were somewhat sensitive and a bit sore (but nothing I couldn't handle) for the first couple of weeks, which i figured might be normal considering I had so many fillings all in one go.

All the teeth that I had the actual fillings in have now settled down, but my two front teeth have become unbearably sensitive to even slightly cold things. Drinking water is difficult, I've been drinking hot tea instead. Even breathing air through my mouth hurts them. I've always used sensodyne toothpaste as well.

The only other thing in my dental routine that has changed has been starting to floss. Can flossing make teeth hurt?

I really am too scared to go back to the dentist, the fillings were unpleasant and also the fact that I never had any pain whatsoever before I went to the dentist. Im really regretting ever going to be honest :(

Happened to me before after a dentist visit, my back teeth were sensitive after a filling. I went back, assuming the dentist must have chipped a tooth or something, he denied it saying I was eating too much fruit or something, then it went away after about 2 weeks on it's own. He did recommend I stop using any toothpaste that has whitening wrote on it, which I did, but I don't know if that helped.
