Watching the tv an hour ago and a knock comes to the door.Wondering who at the door at that hour i answer it and it's a neighbour telling me he went outside to have a smoke and two knackers were jacking up the brothers jeep.

They had stole the spare tyre from the back of it and were using the jack when they seen him and drove off. What in the name of god has the world come to when people are stealing tyres  I actually had to laugh at it.

The knackers can't deny this. There was travellers trying to sell crap in the area today and the neighbour seen them and they told him to fcuk off before driving off.

    Easily done.
Big cardboard box with a string attached to a stick holding it up.
Place a gud "Dag" under it or a bit of copper under it and when he comes along to rob it pull the string.
    Problem solved

They've been at that crack for years. I used to work in a commercial dealership years back and they'd come in and rob them any chance they got. We even had one case where a lad had a van in for doe test and failed on two tyres, low and behold that night two spares went missing from new stock parked outside. He had the cheek to come in the following day for a retest with them fitted to his van... What he didn't know was that the spares were marked a few days prior with ink that shows up under blacklight... The van failed the doe and he had to get his own wheels and tyres from his home and fit them at the side of the road before meeting the cops.

    Culture my hole.

Happened to my old job in Toyota. We had all our new stock two mins away in a yard. All makes an models in the yard and all new and it was about 3 weeks before Xmas and 12 cars had all the alloys nicked off them and the cars were just left on the ground with the discs in the mud. Not even blocks holding them up.
Some crack getting them all drove up to the garage with 4 yellow spare wheels on them. He'll f alot faster with them on aswell. :)

You can't go around calling minorities names like knackers in these enlightened days.

Look, if we increased their dole to their liking they wouldn't need to steal, quit the racism.

Say anything bad about travellers or gypsies? (nearly) everyone agrees with you

Say anything about other minorities? Probable ban + "how can you be so racist?"

If nothing else, threads about the travelling community serve as an excellent litmus test for idiocy.

Not really. Have too many faults to list here, but I generally don't involve myself in thievery on an epic scale and sit on my hole expecting the tax payer to fund my indolent lifestyle.

Travellers or not! surely if you caught someone doing that,it would be in your power to commence attack, with what ever you had at your disposal! Now I know you didn't catch them in the act, so just wondering where would the law stand if you actually did catch them and approached with, eh lets say a very sharp sword......

If they are on your land and have/are/about to commit an act the you have every right to attack them and it might make them think twice. People need to stand up and stop their thieves. Hopefully the next house they call to, theu won't get away with it.

Ah come on now, this isn't the thread for discussing bankers and politicians.

    Back on topic. Please.
