    Hey

Does anyone know if anyone's going to watch the 50th Anniversary Special on 3D in Ireland (north or south)?

I've a similar question. Anyone know of any Irish cinemas showing the 50th?

Has it been confirmed as a cinema movie?

Apparently it is over in the UK so far.

Yeah, has been confirmed for the UK alright. A trip up to NI is probably the only chance we'll have of a cinema screening over here

Damn! Was hoping if there'd be enough interest that a showing could be drummed up in a small cinema. Maybe the BBC would be open to requests?

That would be good. A 3D cinema maybe. Dublin Cineworld, or IFI perhaps?

You might be able to convince a small cinema to get something doing - Lighthouse or IFI seem like the best bets in Dublin.

    Email campaign, anyone?

Hopefully the 3D Blu Ray will be on sale for Christmas.

The Light House Cinema is probably the best bet.
Went to a great great Star Trek party and midnight screening there.

The other option would be The Screen Cinema since they did a lot of 80's stuff a few years ago but don't know if they have a 3D Projector :/

Have a 51in Samsung Series 8 3D tele meself so am looking forward to watching a 3D broadcast for the first time (I have a couple of Blu-Rays but wasn't very impressed). I'll watch it in 3D but will probably save/buy the episode in 2D
