I've been eying up a TVR 280I in the uk. Bit of a marmite car but I really like them. Just wondering is there anyone here with a wedge as I've never seen one in the flesh and would love to view one up close.

Spotted one at the Charleville show earlier in the year. I've no idea who owns is or where it's based I'm afraid.

Cool, at least I won't be the only wedge head in the country :)
Looks like a nice one too, they're such a rare sight.

There is definitely more of them around Cork...

Wow lots of wedges! Not as rare as I thought. It's when you buy a car that you start seeing them everywhere.
Would love a curvy Taimar too :)
Sale all agreed now just have to go and pick it up, can't wait! I'll pop up some pics when I get her home.

The Taimar/2500/3000 TVRs are prettier by far, but the wedges are kinda cool in their own way.

Because they're the ugly sister, however, they are far more affordable than the others. Realistically you're dealing with two different budgets.

Unloved cars like the wedge, Porsche 928's etc are the best bargains in my opinion. You get more car for your money just because they're not as popular as their siblings.
However if i had the cash I'd be buying this to be honest :)
