4ife.is box problems sv 400

    any one else had problems with 4ife.is
    sv 400 box

    satterlitte teresteral box


    box started losing signal



    now picks up no signal


    box only 3 months old

    Can you test the box on another aerial at family/friend/neighbour house? to rule in or out a problem with the box.

    Problem could be with your aerial/cabling also.

    The obvious answer is to take it back for refund/replacement, well within warranty.

    Electrical items sometimes fail, even after 3 months.

    I had similar problems with this box, i brought it back to PC world and swapped it, 2 weeks later i had to take it back because the power plug failed, one moth later the whole thing failed so i got a refund, the staff said they had dozens returned,
    the father in law has the same box, he had to swap it once because the power plug failed months ago but he still has his and had no problem since.

    Is there a better alternative to this box in Ireland.
    That can receive Sat Channels & Irish Channels
    and has a hard disk recording facility ?
