    Hi all
I am a mature student starting a degree in children's and integrated nursing in dcu this September. I will be travelling from Meath each day, the main bus will drop me on o Connell street but I am just wondering what is the best bus to get to the nursing building of dcu?
I'm new to all this and don't want to be wandering around the city looking for busses!

What bus are you getting to Dublin from Meath?

Does the 109A (Bus Eireann) bus serve your part of Meath, it stops very near the nursing building in DCU.

DCU is serviced by the following buses,

Get off by The Viscount Pub on the Swords Road, Whitehall. near to Collins Ave entrance.

    Number 1
    Number 16

Get off Collins Ave (Larkhill), nearer to Collins Ave entrance
    Number 44

Get off on the Ballymun Road, not as near to Collins Ave entrance

    Number 4
    Number 9
    Number 11
    Number 13

The Nursing Building is by the Collins Ave entrance to DCU, you will have a few minutes walk from any of the buses.

    Get the 4, 9, 11 or 13.

I like the 11. Very short walk to the nursing building from the stop.

    Hi elrlb88,

I am in college in St. Pats but I commute everyday from Trim for the past two years.
I usually get off at the Mater Hospital and walk to college from there - takes 15 -20 mins.
For you the best bet is get of at St. Peter's Church, Phibsboro and walk to Phibsboro shopping center and pick up the 4 or 7 Dublin Bus there - otherwise you could get of at the Mater Hospital and walk to the corner of the NCR and Dorset St and there is a bus stop there where you'll get the 1, 11, 13, 16, 44 etc.
Coming home just go the opposite way - but you could be possible better getting the bus coming home from the Mater - the church stop can be hectic and if you are getting buses around 5 more likely to get a seat at the Mater.
    Any other questions just shout.

Hi, I'm not sure but does the airport bus not drive by dcu, it would save u travelling into Dublin city and back out to dcu. It would b worth checking out.
