How to tell if suit is pre rental or not

I'm buying a suit for a wedding along with 4 identical suits that I'm renting. I haven't received them yet but am concerned that the shop will give me a pre rental and I wont know the difference. Has anyone experienced anything similar or are you familiar with this? Thanks
