So I've accepted my course at NUIM, but what happens next? Does the college get in touch with us before registration, or is it just a case of sitting around waiting till then? Really don't know what to expect as a first year!

They'll post you a first year back indicating days of resigtration (a total pain in the bollox). You show up and register. Orientation week the following week which is pretty good . May have the details a bit garbled, its been a while. You'll have a blast though. What course?

You get a first year pack in the post which can be read online here: http://studentservices.nuim.ie/primary-links/guide-for-new-students-2013-2014 Your orientation and registration will take place on the same week. I think it's the first day of your orientation that you register.
