guitar tuner for 11 year old

    Hi there

    could someone recommend a tuner for my sons guitar, he's only playing it about a year but could badly do with one as there isn't always someone around that can help him tune it.

    The Korg GA-30 is a great little tuner. Have one for years and still going strong. Here's a How To video if he's not that familiar with how to use it. It's very straight-forward for beginners. ;) Should be able to pick one up for €10-€20 is most good music shops or even second hand.

    Clip on ones are great.
    I have a WST-423 think it cost 7euro
    there is lots on ebay
    I have another one which the electric will plug into which i got in Lidl (or aldi) for a 10euro

    There is also plenty of free smart phone tuning apps you could download if you were really stuck

    I use one for my acoustic. I find more accurate than my clip on tuner.

    I didnt find the phone app to tune guitar that handy myself

    I think the clip on where you can see the led needle centering or off centre is brilliant and at cheap at round a tenner

    I swear by Snark clip-on tuners myself, they're on amazon for reasonable prices.
