I plan to buy a student ticket every calendar month for my daily commute from Greystones to the city. Last year, I got unlimited travel within the Short Hop Zone for €85.

Does anyone know what this is likely to cost for the coming year? Irish Rail's website mentions availability and conditions but not the actual price.

The price should stay the same until the end of 2013. Expect a price increase in the order of 5% in January 2014.

    €80 or €85?

€85 to include Greystones & Balbriggan. In Bray, it was possible to buy tickets for a slightly smaller area, which I think cost disproportionately less.
