You took him out only last week- counting chickens and all that

Scan in 6-10 weeks will show how well the cows conceived

Cows could of been in heat during the night

sucklers here, leave the bull with them all year round. have had a number of cows going very late over the last few years due to the cold weather during the breeding peroid. means i end up with spring calvers and authunm calvers, not an ideal sitution but i can sell the authunm calves next spring.

used to take the bull from the cows but didnt really have anywhere suitable to house him, had to put him in the shed with yearlings but woul dhave to move him every day when i putting out the meal, he is much happier with the cows and more importantly a happy bull is a safe bull. cows are out by day so gives them a chance to strech thier legs and get them off the concrete for a few hours.

i'll scan the cows just before housing this year to see whats in calf. whats not will be going to the factory.
