I am a student who will be returning to college in September and i'm just after starting my first proper part time job. Ihave to register myself for tax soon so I don't get emergecy taxed etc. On the form I have to complete - Tax Credit form 12A it says to fill in your income from Jan 2013. My only form of income from then was my student grant. Does anyone know if this is taxable and should be put down on this form? (I've tried looking at revenue.ie but can't find anything about it)

Not taxable. No need to include. You can attach a cover letter with the 12a to advise Revenue that this is your very first job and you have been and still are a student.
