Fare for Train to Wexford.

    Apologies if I sound like a dumbass but its been a decade or more since I've used the train. I'm waiting on a call to pick up my car and am just wondering is the fare at the desk/kiosk in Connelly the same as the fare advertised online?

    Generally the online fare is cheaper than the fare at the ticket office.

    €25.50 adult single Connolly to Wexford if bought at the station ticket office.

    Full list of ticket office fares for the Rosslare line are here.

    Online a ticket for tomorrow's ex 09.40 Connolly would cost €15.99 (& €2/ 3 fee depending on which card used). Online tickets are currently not available for all Rosslare trains though.

    Tickets can be collected from any ticket vending machine in the station (in Connolly they're located beside the ticket office). Just type in the reservation number into the ticket vending machine and the ticket will be printed on the spot. The ticket will also open the ticket gate on the way to the platform.

    Rosslare train usually departs from platform 5.

    Tickets can be collected in any station that has a machine, despite what the website leads you to think (i.e. that you can only pick up at the nominated station)
