I messed up my CAO choices and was given computer systems in UL, WIT is my 3rd choice in applied computing, which I want to do instead. I have emailed admissions and called but no reply yet. Has anyone had experience in this matter.

Is there anyway I can transfer, as I qualify for the WIT course?

Doubtful unless there's spaces open try and email Mairead Meagher - if shes back shes normally pretty quick with the responses as well
her emails at the bottom of the page here. http://www.wit.ie/courses/school/science/department_of_computing_maths_physics/bsc_hons_in_applied_computing

If you picked one of the level 7 computer courses in the wit you might be able to do that and transfer over next year. You might try and emailing or ringing the school of science as well.

    Best of luck!!!!!!

I was offered a transfer last year from Carlow to WIT because I realised I had mad a huge mistake. I was given it though because WIT had made me an offer and there was spaces left. Try calling into or writing to the admissons office. They'll let you know what your options are

Admissions are flat out at the moment I suspect and lecturers are not due back until September when classes start IIRC. May or may not get your email outside of this time frame.
