I weighed my springer pup today and at 13 weeks he is 10kg
I have ordered red mills mother and puppy food how much in weight would you give him..
The reason I've asked is I have been over feeding him and think this is the reason why he does so much number 2s each day..

Lad I keep food to any pup I have ever had til there a year old , that way your giving then the best chance to reach there full size .

Never had any problems and none of these dogs were ever over weight or had anything faults

i would be the same as yourself within reason, but surely 10kg is too heavy for a 12 week old pup, would have to be hard on joints etc,

It has to be pounds ! 10kg is half the weight of an adult spaniel at 3 years old !

    Something not right !

Or he got a St. Bernard by accident , easy mistake beretta man !

i had mine at the vet for shots 2 weeks ago, which would make him around 8 weeks, he was 2 kg, he was normal weight going by my vet, i weighed him yesterday and he is up on 3kg

have you a picture of him, very easy to spot an over weight dog

I had my lad at the vet last week myself twelve week old dog weighed at just under seven KG and you wouldn't call him over weight to look at him

    !

10lbs for a 13 week pup is hardly right, depending on the dog it could hold 10kg though.

It can't be pounds because my first born child was 8lb never mind a 3 month pup

Fine looking healthy dog. What ever you're doing your doing it right. Weights fine. I feed pups ad-lib never had a problem just like TriggerPL said. Keep in mind feeding instructions are just guidelines...

Ya his a strong dog very adventurous and afraid of nothing..
Going to do nothing with him till 6months
At the moment it's all playing with him and getting him used to people ect
I have thrown a ball around the garden and loves bringing it back..

he is a fine fella nothing wrong with him.he is in great shape

Pup looks in great order lad I wouldn't be cutting back on food , in case he starts to go back wards on u ! It take twice as long to get them back in shape again !

Why do you think there something a miss . Look at the definition in his legs if anything your doing a great job lad and if the pup is healthy and flying around like a pup should then be happy !

Mayb we all think 10 kg sounds more than it really is

He looks like a little smasher to me, perfect weight whether he's 10kgs or not. I gave up feeding Red Mills years ago, always found my labs would sh*t for Ireland on it.
