    Not free, but still cheap:

"Please bring copy of Heat Magazine to validate ticket"

    The ticket says:
"Copy of Heat Magazine promotion required to validate ticket.
    No photocopies "

    *cancels ticket* :)

I doubt very much that will be enforced - suggest ringing the cinema the day before to confirm thou.

I would be shocked if it was enforced. Thanks OP.

Has anyone established if this will be enforced?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,504 ✭✭✭ALS

This requirement to have a copy of the magazine is always printed on the tkt but is never enforced , I have been to at least a dozen previews and although it was stated on the tkt it was never a problem .

The need for the magazine was on the reminder as well

Any of you going this evening? I hope the requirement of the magazine is not enforced. Btw, are the tickets the actual confirmation email? THanks!

Never seen night vision used to combat secret filming.

Yeah, that guy was freaking me out. It was like being in school again with a teacher watching over. Very enjoyable movie though. A good few laughs and a very emotional end.

He had night vision??? Stopped paying attention to him pretty quickly. Bit ott imo. Good film none the less. Thanks OP.

That security guy with the night vision was odd , understandable with all the HD cam piracy etc. but there has to be a better way to monitor for that , him stomping up and down the aisles really pee'd me off ... Enjoyable flick though all the same.. Even better being free :-) Thanks OP

I have seen them a few times for big movies, might have been skyfall or transformers but doesn't just happen at previews or at coolock

Night vision freak was a bit much. Gave out to me for having a quick discreet check on my on silent phone for a text. Really too much drama and he created more distractions tan anyone else there
