I've noticed a dramatic increase in the number of Bee's in the last week. Particularly indoors, at home, in work, in the car, etc. Is this just me thats noticed it? Is it the current weather??

I live and work in Dublin and Wicklow.

I think your confusing wasps with bee's.

Loads of wasps around compared to previous years.

I do notice an increase in bumblebees by me, haven't seen too many of the normal bees.

 Wasps are yellow and black. Bees are brown and black.

Its a good idea to be able to tell the difference as one sting is alkaline and one is acidic so they require different treatments.

Also bees die after they have stung and are less likely to sting in the first place. Try not to kill them if you can as they are so important for pollination and are under threat at the moment.

Wasps are always active in August.
