    What age is a vintage tractor? What's the financial implications?

    This is a guess but yes, if you pay tax you can use it on public roads.

    Check how its insured though. if you do it on a vintage policy some just cover shows or road runs, some will cover occaisional work (read the small print or ask).

    FBD have a vintage tractor policy which covers vintage (going to and from shows, gage, etc) and also incudes limited / occassional agricultural use (bringing home turf, the occassional bale to fields, etc). €70 per year. Happy Days!!!!!
