What's the story with this fella? Will he hit a racecourse this year? He's been pulled from both the York races he was entered for as far as I can see.

I'll be very surprised if he makes an appearance this season. Maybe next season but who knows with Coolmore? They never give too much away. They're too concerned with protecting the horse's potential stud value to tell the press anything.

Think he won a couple as a three year old and then got injured for a year.

Yeats won the Ballysax and Derrinstown Trials and then got injured!

You might see Kingsbarns have one run this season but I'd be confident he'll be back next year, it's not like they can charge any sort of a fee for him at stud as it is!

Would hardly get away with sending him to stud now, not the typical 2 year old type to send to stud like Holy Roman or Approve, mind you worked for Teofilo but he was somewhat precocious

All O'Briens 5 previous winners of the Racing Post trophy ran again and won again as older horses. So, he may take a year out, but he should run again at some stage and win. The Juddmonte would have been a ridiculous comeback race for him, how the hell would he be up to it on his comeback race. A soft GP 3 or GP 2 without being hard ridden would look more likely.

He's a nice horse but would be surprised if he was a 10 furlong colt think he could be slow, could well be an Irish Leger horse next year

I'll leave that up to the Coolmore lads and Aidan, i just set a target, they do the rest.

Would be surprised if he was Arc bound this year unless he got at least two runs into him.Open aged race it's not the be all and end all if they left it this year

The fact he's still being declared for races, i have a feeling he must have an end of season target. He clearly handles soft ground very well from his runs last year. The Arc could be a target.

Edit - Just checked there, he has an entry in the Irish Champion and also a Group 3 at the Curragh on 15th Sep. That could be a good prep??

If he does come back racing he's likely to be lined up for races like the Coronation Cup next year. They could do with a replacement for St Nicholas Abbey. He's going to have a lot to live up to.:)
