    Catkins in Spring. Leaves fade to yellow in autumn. Probably about 12ft high, possibly 12 years old, spread possibly 8ft too on lower branches, but has been trimmed back in parts.

    Hopefully someone will know.

    It is not very far from a manhole, though it's largest root has gone in the other direction.

    I think it might be a "wild" willow, as that is what I have and those leaves look familiar (although mine is much, much younger and smaller in size).
