Price of books/equipment 1st year pharmaceutical science

    Starting in WIT and really need to find out how much I will need for my books and other equipment for the start of the year. Any info would be great.

    Hi mate,

    When i was in First year, the books/log-in for the tutorials package was 180e IIRC. Then you also have to buy your own labcoat (20e)/safety glasses(5e)/pipette filler (2-3e).

    You wont need any of these for the first week, and im pretty sure that the college shop wont have them either :p , as there wont be any practicals until you have completed your safety training which is normally held on the friday of the first week.

    Is there much other expenses for the course, what's the assesements like in first year ? continuous or end exam, actually any other information you could pass on would be awesome :)

    Have my place already just have a higher preference for a computer course if I pass the maths entry, so waiting to see which I will be attending, Excited for either to be honest =D
