Just looking for recommendation for good repairs / service in Dungarvan / Waterford. Having endless problems with rear derailleur and getting it set properly.

Doing the SK 160k on Sunday and can't get the bike into my LBS before then, but in Dungarvan from Thursday afternoon and I can book it in somewhere hopefully, so any recommendations much appreciated.

O'Mahoneys(run by an ex cyclist and I think that the mechanic is a cyclist also) in Dungarvan are excellent but I suspect that they will be busy.
If you are passing through Clonmel, there are two good shops there.
Waterford Cycle Centre are very good too.

You have left it to late for the Sean Kelly I think! Try fix it your self. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQncKmddahk

Don't go to O'Mahonys, good mechanic but veryhectic shop.
Other bike shop on by pass are more reliable for ggetting simple repairs done in time.
Rear derailleur is a simple device and you should be able to do with a little research

I'd recommend cyclesport in Dungarvan. Very easy to find, on the bypass (N25).

Spokes in Waterford too. I was in yesterday evening and you'd want to be getting it in them as early as possible this week as they're going to be up the walls getting bikes serviced for this weekend. The same will probably apply to any of the shops in the county.

[Edit] Just re-read original post and saw you'll only be in Dungarvan from Thursday, I'd give a thumbs up to Cyclesports as well

Thanks for the repsonses, will make contact with shops today. Have tried to resolve the issue myself and think there is another issue contributing to the problem, but hopefully will get sorted before Sunday.

    thanks again.
