    Anybody used this?

eBay basically run an intermediary service, subcontracted out to Pitney Bowes, which takes customs fees from the purchaser in advance, and claims to remove the hassle/risk of international shipping for the vendor.

So about a week ago, i was sent a tracking number for purchase in the approximate format U000000000XXXXXX

Yes it really did have that many zeros in it, and the tracking number is apparently useless because Packagetrackr doesn't have a clue what to do with it.

I don't know where my purchase is, and i don't know for sure who is meant to be delivering it.

So like i said at the start, anybody use this? Can anyone offer me advice to indicate this is not all just a giant clusterfeck?
