If a driver with acquired rights has not sat a single training module for trucks what does one have to do to ensure she gets a card?

Do all 5 modules, 6 if they have a bus. The RSA says 1 per annum on their site but I can't see it being an issue to do the 5 in a few weeks if they need them for work, since all other EU states allow it to be done in blocks.

She needs 4 of Mods 1 to 5
They can be done now as a catch up
You'll need to notify RSA as 2 in one year
Needs to be cleared with them
A lot of people are doing this at the moment.

There's also a form to fill out
You can fill that at training centre on 1st day of training

A professional truck driver with acquired rights (who holds a licence issued before the introduction of the Driver CPC training program) must have completed 5 days of Period Driver CPC training before the 9th of September this year.

Theses courses are numbered 1 to 5. To start just book a course with a training provider and attend a course. You can start on any course - they don't have to be done in numerical order. The key thing is not to repeat any module twice as the RSA don't give credit or make any exceptions for a driver attending the same training twice.

Take note of what course you do and make sure you don't end up repeating it. Once you have a course completed you can check your progress online on the Driver CPC Portal section of the RSA website. Here you can see what you have completed - your courses' with the exception of the first one you do, will be highlighted in red and will say something down the lines of 'invalid training' or 'not qualifying'. Don't worry about this, once you have completed the 5 modules contact the RSA and explain that you hadn't completed any training until now and you were 'catching up'. They may ask you to put this in writing and send it to them.

If you complete all courses by mid august and send in the application form for a Driver CPC Qualification Card I believe you will have it issued to you on the 10th of september.
