Changing Bank for payments

    Wife is changing banks. On BTWEA.

    Does she physically have to go to her local office to effect the change or can it be done on line?

    Can't find anything on the welfare.ie site.

    Banking details can't be changed online. She will have to go to the local office.

    I've changed banks before - a signed letter sent to the office was fine, plus they wanted a statement of the new bank account to confirm the details.
