Right lads please bear with me, I'm just repeating the information I've been given. I've a r34 skyline with a rb20de engine. We've been having problems getting the parts to fix it (pistons rings valves.....) but now I need to know whats the difference in measurements with a rb20de and a rb20det. Can I put the top end of the rb20de onto the bottom end of a rb20det??? Any advise be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I am not sure about the measurements but when I was after a GTT I used http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/index.php to get all my info, there is an Ireland specific page here http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=137

It'd be worth getting a price from him so for a Turbo conversion. They've a few drift cars down there running Nissan engines and have plenty of experience building them too.

The t in det means turbo, so you could probably put a det top end on anything , but a de top end on a det isn't good I'd think, the cr will be too high And cause detonation.

You might also want to check with the insurance company that they will even insure/cover you on such a car....if it were to be converted.

Fcuk all use getting a turbo conversion if you cant get it legally insured/covered.
