Which bricks to build outdoor BBQ?

I want to build me an outdoor BBQ to enjoy the brilliant summers we are going to experience for the next 5 years (you heard it here first!).

So, I understand that I cannot use these normal concrete bricks as they will not be able to stand the heat. Does anybody know what types of brick can be used and where I can purchase some in Dublin, north county pref.?

Unless your powering it with Acetylene gas, then there really isn't any need for anything special.

the red bricks will look nicer than ur standard grey concrete block
