    Anyone know any locations for Mackeral fishing from rocks near Clonea/Dungarvan?

    Helvic is your best place..theres a nice beach right of the pier. Its about a 3 minute walk past the car park.

    I seen a lot of people fishing off the bridge in dungarvan lately aslo, they caught a nice bit of mackeral there.

    Clonea beach, Helvick in Ring, along the Quay in Dungarvan or from below the sports centre or Abbeyside church.

    Very, the mackerel were coming all the way up past the park hotel bridge for the first time in years. They were pulling them out of the water.
