Filling still sore when flossing a few months later

Hi folks, you guys were really useful in the past so here's another quick question for you.

I had an interdental filling done about 3 months ago now. The tooth at the location of the filling is still sore when I floss (no pain otherwise). It's one of those white fillings if that makes a difference.

Money's very tight so I don't want to risk getting stuck with a bill for a check-up not covered by PSRI if all that'll come out of it is a pat on a shoulder and some reassurance.

So, worth scheduling an appointment for? What are dentists looking for based on this kind of complaint?
