Non Resident for Tax Purposes and Permanent Health Insurance Payment

    Can you get a revenue exclusion order if living in Australia so you pay tax in Australia and not in Ireland on income received from an Irish employer under an income protection policy. Permanent resident in Australia

    I also found this statement here http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/it/who-pays.html but cannot find any explanation other than this. Can anyone put any light on what exemption/relief you may get

    "A non-resident individual, who is an Irish citizen, or, having been resident in the State, is now resident abroad for health reasons, may be entitled to a measure of income tax relief."

    All a little confusing really..........
