Extra 1GB Dropbox space for Mailbox users [iOS]

If you use the Mailbox app on iOS, and you link your Dropbox account to it, you can get an extra GB of space on your account.

Handy to have. I now have a 47.6GB free Dropbox account after various bonuses like this one.

Well you could buy a Samsung Galaxy or HTC and get the bonus space but it'll only last a year or two. Also you could get 32 referrals of 500Mb each giving you a non-expiring extra 16Gb. They're the major ways I know of. Be careful of those eBay sellers offering to do the referrals for you as Dropbox clamp down on referral abuse.

I like looking through Bargain Alerts
The fact that I have that view of iOS is well, irrelevant.
If I had an iDevice, I'd get this offer but I don't :rolleyes:

I paid about €2.50 to some Asian firm on eBay to max out my friend referrals. I also activated the camera upload feature and did (cheated) the Space Race game last year. You can get a shed-load of space like the op did with a HTC phone and there's a couple of other ways, but this extra space expires at some point. I only take free space that I get to keep.

Just saw another poster saying Dropbox are clamping down on those eBay firms.

They removed all my referral space that I paid a whole €3 on eBay for! It took about two months but they got me.

I used a friends phone for the Galaxy offer, she doesn't use online storage as she's only got a dongle for her bb, she asked would I like to use hers I said yeah sure, it worked grand then after about 2 weeks the storage was removed
I think what they must do is check up on what devices you're using every so often.

There are several other ways to get extra space, e.g. camera uploads, Facebook and Twitter posts.

With the corresponding promotion on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 I got 50 GB extra for 2 years
