Lads is the only difference between these two cards just the label??
I already have the sapphire and am looking at getting another 7970 for xfire

I think those genrique cards can be anything, not just necessarily the style pictured.

Do yourself a favor and buy one with a decent cooler unless you are water cooling of course.

Im not fussed about fancy fans.Just wanted know if the 2 cards would be the same..I already have the sapphire and that generic is a good price

Watercooling is an option I have been putting a lot of thought into. just want to get a few upgrades done before I go down that route.

There would be no real difference in the cards bar maybe things like warranty. With the sapphire one you can def overvolt them though, not sure about the generic one, would be 50-50 whether you can or not. If you are worry about overvolting them you would be more concerned about getting them on water as the standard fans couldnt handle much of an overclock.

Do you just want something to match your current card/cooler?

Keep an eye on adverts, i picked up one the same as the sapphire one you linked to on it a while ago, perfect condition. They come up occasionally, its a reference cooler so you arent stuck with one brand or anything.

Hows it dwighet, the GENERIQUE bit means generic in french (you dont say..:D)

Just be careful as I got a 6970 off them a while back, it was a good €50 cheaper than any other brand they had advertised. When I got it the box had been opened/seal broken.

Probably a returned product so I sent it back.

    I think I will give it a miss...`Better the devil you know`
I should of jumped on one of your old cards a while back

If you are thinking about water cooling your cards i'd check what the of pcb your first card has.
The type of pcb will determine what blocks fit it.
This way you can match it with the new card so if you do wc you can have the same blocks on each card.
