This was just fantastic last night, and if I just leave it in the WWE 2K14 or Video thread it will end up starting a discussion. Everyone should watch this, I was nearly on the floor laughing.

    http://www.twitch.tv/2k/b/447395637

Starts from around the 12 minute mark.

JR chairing things with Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Stone Cold, Paul Heyman, Mick Foley and Ric Flair.

JR had a shnapple or two and kept going off script and cracking jokes about everyone.

Ric Flair went off telling stories, and then told one about when his son died out of nowhere. Very emotional. Outside of that he was in typical Flair form. They had to cut nearly every single question because he kept telling stories.

JR telling Heyman that commentating WM X-7 was one of the best experiences of his career.

Mick and Flair with a dig or two at TNA.

Majority of them talking about their favourite wrestlemania match, or what match they would like to see.

After so many stories and tangents, the whole thing fell apart into Ric Flair stories and them ripping the piss out of each other.

It was like watching the best Legends of Wrestling Roundtable, times 3. They barely talked about the game at all.

And apparently Flair's behaviour led to him being removed from the 2K Legend's Panel afterwards and replaced by Jerry Lawler.

AFAIK they were supposed to talk to the press afterwards about the game etc.

    Thanks Mitch.

Apparently Ric was tired and emotional to the degree Steph had to apologise to the video game people.

    Removing him was understandable.

Might have been an amazing panel for wrestling fans, but after all the stories they barely talked about the game and that's what 2K had them there for.

WZ has learned that Ric Flair was pulled from last night's 2K Sports Legends panel, and it appears as though WWE sent Jerry Lawler to the event to replace Flair in talking to the media.

We can also exclusively confirm Stephanie McMahon LeVesque personally came to the event, and was whisked in by her own personal security staff to apologize to 2K Sports on behalf of WWE.

WZ has been told WWE is furious with Flair, and also at host Jim Ross for losing control of the situation.

Don't know if it was posted here before but in the Observer on Wednesday Meltzer said WWE & Flair were on the verge of coming to a formal agreement for Flair to come back full time in a PR role!

HHH still see's him as Ric Flair (retro) whereas the rest of the world see's him as Ric Flair (2013, irresponsible baby)

I genuinely don't get that impression in 2013. I think Hunter wants to be in the position to be able to monitor Ric and keep him out of trouble by giving him a productive purpose. I've heard anecdotes/passing comments about Ric's drinking increasing a lot ever since Reid's death for example. Even before Reid passing his finances and love life were fairly off the rails.

Would love to get an unedited copy of that if there is one floating about. Don't think I remember Ziggler or Rey saying anything after the first question cos Flair just took over at the end, the Mic never dropped from his hand.

The link above is the unedited version. Ziggler/Rey just happen to not say much. You can tell it's unedited because theres "****" and "bastard" being thrown around everywhere without bleeps.

Highly entertaining watch. Didn't care for JR making fun of whoever wrote his speech - it's not like his ad-libbing was any better - and Ric Flair was amazing. Did an excellent job selling Austin's podcast as I could listen to drunk Flair tell stories for hours! I loved him brazenly mentioning and batting away TNa and had JR swearing by the end. Sadly we heard almost nothing from Ziggler and Bryan and who cares about what modes are in 2K14, but it was a great watch!
