Hi guys . I have a meeting with a social welfare inspector in 2 weeks time for Jsa. I was asked to bring in a number of documents to my meeting. I was just wondering if I submitted these documents before my meeting would this speed up the process or am I just wasting my time

It won't make any difference I'm afraid, and Welfare have a funny habit of losing documents. Your claim is placed in a queue and will be dealt with in order of arrival. Might as well wait until the meeting and hand them over in person.

Can you see the CWO to get some money in the meantime, if you're skint?

Thanks for your advice , I was thinking of contacting Cwo but don't you have to give money back to Cwo if u get a job in the meantime while your claim is being processed?

You should go to cwo for supplementary welfare - he/she can pay you until JSA comes through

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
