    Hi there,

My clutch went today on a 10 year old Fiesta whilst driving down the country. My bad for risking it as I had a feeling it was on the way out.:o Had to leave it down there with the mechanic and I'm just wondering how kosher his early quote of e400 for replacement and work sounds?

    Cheers.

Including the price of a clutch I think that's a decent price. Make sure the slave cylinder also gets changed

Its not to bad of a quote at all if it includes the hydraulic bearing in a reputable make

That seems resonable for the work involved.

Edit: OOPs sorry lads. Should have been more specific. Its a 2002 car, the MK4 model. Is this cable operated as opposed to hydraulic for later models or have I got that wrong? If so is that quote above still good value?

    Thanks.
