heifer scouring

    noticed a heifer this evening scouring, looked like blood in dung too,she ate meal and was grazing all they,what could this be?thanks

    what age is she? if blood could be coocidiosis, get vet

    We've had a few cases in the last two weeks..
    Got vecoxin and it cleared right up...
    Girl in the office said there was plenty about :(

    We had a few like that a few years ago, turned out to be Salmonella. I would be getting the vet quick, if it as watery as you say.

    I have had 2 18mth old bulls with this ,very watery black scour.
    The vet thinks its salmonella .We treated them with Framoysin .

    got sulphadimidine sodium from vet this morning,dose morning and evening,will see how she goes
