Is an aga really worth it?

We're renovating and looking at the kitchen at the moment, have thought about a 30 amp 4 oven electric aga, are they really worth the money? We will depend on it to cook as no other oven or hob.
Are they very expensive to run? I've gone to the showroom, had a look at it, hubbie loves it, I'm not so sure, I'm afraid of making a very expensive mistake that I will regret.
Any advice and info would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

I'm also looking to hear if anyone has any experience of the aga 30amp.. We're considering all options at the minute. Would love to go with the aga but like you I do not want to make a costly mistake..

Thanks. As a matter of interest, will you be installing a separate hob or will you use Aga hobs only?

I am not installing any other form for cooking...I hope to learn to cook mostly using the ovens as its seems that is the most econoimical way...
