Bank Account - Collector General

Hi there, I've just checked my bank account there and saw I had a little extra cash than normal. It said "Collector General" on the statement. Did a quick google and I'm assuming it's something to do with Tax. I registered my banking details with the online PAYE system; is this a tax refund of some form? I'm quite shocked…

anytime ive had tax back to my bank account thats the description i had. for me it was when i submitted med1 forms or college expenses.
