Replacement Combi Box this weekend

My Sat4Free Grundig receiver seems to have packed it in overnight. Have had it for about 4 years. Was powered up when I came down this morning but was frozen. I tried power cycling it and now it's not coming on.

In the past week a couple of the FreeSat channels started reporting no signal. Came to a head last night when almost 50% of my stations were gone. I found a ball in the back garden last week and suspected that this had smacked off the LNB or something causing some signals to be lost. now it looks like the receiver itself is the issue.

Anyway, I want to get my Match of the Day fix tonight (Thanks RTE for getting rid of the Premiership  ), so need a replacement ASAP.

Going to go for a combi this time and give my parents my current Saorview receiver. Anyone any thoughts on this in Power City?

The only thing I can't see is if it has an Electronic Programme Guide for the Satellite.

Any other suggestions? I'm in Ratoath.

I think that this box is ok but I would recommend the Ariva 150

Give these a ring and see if they're open this morning. Trip across the m50 for ya if they are

Has the youporn option on the Ariva 150 been removed at this stage?

I'm trawling through an old boards thread looking for the answer.

No - why would it be removed?

Anyway, you need a pin code to access it

Kids and awkward questions. That's all. Wouldn't bother me.

    Thanks.

Well as I said you can enter a pin code to lock it eg like your bank card pin

also if you dont update to the latest firmware access is usually blocked - so you could always just stay one firmware behind.

The walker box will have a 7day guide if you download the Sat free software for it to a usb stick and up load it to the box. it will have a very similar EPG as the Freesat Sat4Free receivers.

Has you porn on it which is negative if you have kids ... You cannot delete it ... Has card entry .. Slot two USB
